We're living in an exciting, pivotal moment for the semiconductor industry! At the same moment we celebrate 40 years as an organization, SRC is ready to "drive collaborative innovation" to the next level.

"For 40 years, SRC has provided thought leadership, connection, and breakthrough R&D results that have helped our members create a $600B/yr. semiconductor industry that is poised to double by 2030," stated Todd Younkin, SRC's President & CEO.

Jack Kavaileros of Intel offered further compelling details during his keynote address entitled "The Future of Semiconductor Innovation" at TECHCON 2022. He described the need to win the hearts and minds of future innovators to the semiconductor industry.

We've outlined 5 Seismic Shifts in our Decadal Plan that will provide a roadmap for the work we have to do. We also gained a great deal of momentum thanks to the passage of the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022. It is a “once-in-a-generation” catalyst aimed at rejuvenating microelectronics and advanced packaging technologies.

Together with our partners in Academia, Industry, and Government, we are making powerful progress towards our goals. Here's to the next 40 years!
